MY BLONDE MOMENT

(PASSING and crossdressing)

BY CAROL LYN HOLMES

During Lake Erie Gala 2000, hosted by the Erie Sisters, I had the opportunity
to have pictures taken by a professional photographer
(Something Else

. I had hoped to make my appointment in the morning, but
couldn’t because I wasn't feeling well and didn't get out of bed until afternoon.

I made my appointment for 3:30 PM. When I came done to the banquet
room, I brought three outfits. The business-type dress I wore down, the
evening gown I was going to wear that night at the banquet and the wedding
gown I purchased at a bridal shop for $50. My first session was in the
business dress, the professional look we all dream we could wear. Next I wore
my evening gown, a long black dress which I bought at The Winner in Sharon.

Finally, I started changing into my wedding dress. I had forgot my strapless
bra, so up to the room I ran. After returning downstairs I started changing
again. Oh no! Where is my slip? You know, the one that puffs up the dress.
Once again, up to the room I went. By this time I was starting to get a little
rattled. Back down again and then it dawned on me - my veil! This was
the last trip back to my room no matter! After all that, the pictures turned out
great! I would do it again in a minute, but next time I hope to be better prepared!
