LAKE ERIE GALA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM



For the first time the Erie Sisters will offer two full scholarships to the Erie Gala.
Two people will receive an all expenses paid package "A" registration to the gala.
This includes all gala activities from Wednesday through Sunday, 11 meals,
and completely paid, shared room accommodations for 4 nights.

Those wishing to apply should submit two letters. The first is a statement of
financial need explaining the reasons why it would be a financial hardship for
the writer to attend the gala without scholarship assistance. The second letter
should address why the applicant wants to attend the Erie Gala. This letter should
include something about themselves as well as what attending the Erie Gala will mean
to the applicant.

Information on how to contact the applicant should be provided in or attached to the letters.

Awards will be made after review by a sub-committee of the Erie Gala Management Team.
Applications will be judged in the blind without the applicant's name or contact information
appearing on the application letters. All applicants and results will be kept confidential
except that the Erie Sisters reserve the right to anonymously reproduce parts or all of the
submitted letters for publicity purposes.

In the event that an applicant is unable to attend the gala or declines the scholarship for any reason,
the scholarship will be awarded to another applicant.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Application letters must be received or postmarked by September 1st, 2008.
